Rated as: Below Average. This is located half way between Tucson and Phoenix. The property is a little remote, but Casa Grande is 25 minutes north for groceries and large “box stores”. It is right on the Highway, I10, so it is east to find and access. The roads are asphalt, easy to maneuver, and the sites are level gravel. Each site has a concrete patio, but no picnic table or fire ring. Premium sites have a small privacy screen with a paver patio. The sites are nicely spaced. The bath house and laundry are located in the middle of the resort with the office and other amenities. The laundry is rather small for such a large resort. Most of the staff is efficient and friendly, that said, the office ladies are not too helpful and “no” is always their first response. The activities are limited due to covid virus. There are four nice pickleball courts with games every day. The people are friendly and welcoming. The is a putting green, wood shop, library, craft room, pool tables, scheduled activities, and entertainment. There are two large dog park available. One unique feature is they have a salt water swimming pool. Since the resort is next to the freeway and train tracks, the traffic noise is loud and constant. On the south end of the resort is a waste water treatment plant. With a south wind, the sewage smell is very strong on the sites close to that end of the park. Overall, the resort is very nice, well laid out, well maintained, and very reasonable priced. Without the constant traffic, train noise, and sewage odor it would rate much higher. We can cautiously recommend this park if you can deal with the noise and odor, but would not stay there again. Rated as: Below Average.
