Description

Rated as: Average. This RV resort is one of two in the Tuscon area – East and West. This is the smaller of the two, older, with fewer amenities. The majority of spaces are filled with permanent park models, about 80%.  RV sites are randomly intersperse between them.  The entire property is well maintained. The staff is welcoming, helpful, and informative. The activity committee is very busy with something always going on. Card games, trips, dinners, wood shop, craft shop, art classes, dance classes, special events, and more.  Pickleball, bocce ball, tennis, horse shoes, wood carving, golf driving range, Astronomy telescope, and shuffle board are always “in play” for all levels. A few complaints – propane is delivered once a week, but horrible expensive. The sites are too close together will little privacy. Many of the park models are old and run down. There are a few “old timers” that are abrasive, even rude. The other residents and guests are very friendly.   We can cautiously recommend this park and would stay there again. That said, we would look at the West Park first.  Rated as: Average.

Other notes:

Close to the city of Tucson

Close to 150 miles bicycle path

Close to the Air force plane “bone yard” and museum.
