Description
Rated as: Average. This is primarily a Marina and fishing camp. It is a combination of permanent cabins and RV sites. It is old, very basic, and hap haphazardly laid out. The main road is asphalt. Each site is level, packed gravel with grass. Some sites are close together others are well spaced. There is a marina store, shower house, toilet house, and separate laundry. The park is reasonably well maintained and quiet. All the utilities worked well, are convenient, and easy to hook up. The owners are friendly and willing to answer questions about the area and fishing in the lake. The daily rate reflects ½ price with Passport America, valid Monday thru Thursday – maximum 3 days. Weekly is $200; monthly is $500. Rated as Average. We would stay there again.
Other notes:
On the shore of Lake Talquin
Has a primitive boat ramp and fishing dock
