• Rated as: Average. This is a functional RV Park, not a resort.  It’s main purpose is to support the RV training Academy students. The National RV Training Academy is a school designed to train RV Inspectors and Technicians. It is the only school in the country dedicated to this type of training. Classes begin with one week and can go on as long as 5 or 6 weeks. A variety of optional classes are available and more are in the planning stages. The staff is courteous, welcoming, and friendly.  The sites are large, level gravel with a picnic table and privacy fence.  The premium sites have a concrete pad with a table and chairs. The main road is asphalt, while the connecting roads are gravel.  The park is growing, so there is a lot of construction in progress. There are three ponds in the park that offer free fishing for guests without a license requirement.  The laundry and club house is centrally located.  There are no amenities and very limited activities, again geared toward student.  With a few planned activities and amenities, this park could be a destination resort, but they remain full just with the students. If we return to the area, we would look at other place to stay rather then here. It’s great for the students, but partners and families are left with little to do. In addition, the rates are rather high for what is offered.  Rated as: Average.
