Rated as: Above Average. This State Park is located on Mustang Island of the Texas coast.  Like all Texas State Parks it is in a beautiful location and very well maintained.  The property is close to Corpus Christi , 20 minutes for groceries and large “box stores”.  It is right on the Highway, 361, so it is east to find and access. The roads are asphalt, easy to maneuver. Site are very spread out,  have a concrete patio, picnic table and fire ring.  The restroom-shower house is clean with ample hot water.  Overall, the park is very nice, well laid out, well maintained, and very reasonable priced. Access to the beach is a short walk along a nice trail. BEWARE of rattle snakes, we seen a very large one.  We would stay there again. Rated as: Above Average.
