Description
Very nice RV park 20 minutes from Zion National Park entrance. All roads are paved with easy access. Each site has level concrete pads, a nice grass area with a gravel “patio”, picnic table, and fire ring. All the utilities worked well, are convenient, and east to hook up. The pool, hot tub, and patio area is very clean and inviting. There are a lot of trees that would be welcome in the summer heat. The entire park is beautiful and well maintained. There is a convenience store in the office area. The staff is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. Zion River offers a winter monthly special that makes if very affordable. The park is filled all the time, so advance reservations are needed. The only negative is the width of the concrete pads. They are very narrow, with no patio. You must step directly onto the grass and cannot use a door mat. Rated as Excellent – We Highly recommend this RV park.
Other notes:
Close to under used entrance to Zion National Park
Do not enter Zion National Park from the East entrance with a large rig. The road is narrow, a lot of tight switch backs, and a low tunnel (13′ 1”)
Cannot drive into the bulk of Zion National Park, must take free shuttle
Pre-registration and a pass are now required to enter in Zion National Park
Parking is very limited
Pay parking is available in town for $22.00 a day
Be prepared for great hiking opportunities
