Description
- Rated as Average.Right at the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park, Ruby’s Inn is the only private park in the area. The staff was helpful and friendly. It has paved access roads with gravel side roads to the sites. There is a lot of room to maneuver and access sites. Sites are very large with good spacing. Entrance to some sites are sloped, but still adequate even for large rigs. There are two separate areas. One in the trees and one in the open. Each site has a small grass area, a picnic table and fire ring. All utilities worked well and are convenient. The water hydrant was too low and hard to attach the hose to. There is a very nice bath house with separate showers. For such a large park, it is extremely undersized in the busy season. Since we were there in off season it was not a problem. They have a large tent camping area, rustic cabins, and tee pees for rent. Rated as Average. We would stay there again.
Other notes:
Bruce is at 8000 feet elevation and can be cold.
There is a nice bike path along the highway
Be prepared for a lot of great hiking opportunities
