Rated as: Above Average. This park is located halfway between Tucson and Phoenix. Like all Arizona State Parks it is in a beautiful location and very well maintained, The property is a little remote, but Casa Grande is 25 minutes north and Marana 25 minutes south, for groceries and large “box stores”. It is right on the Highway, I10, so it is east to find and access. The roads are asphalt, easy to maneuver. Site are very spread out, have a concrete patio, picnic table and fire ring. The restroom-shower house is clean with ample hot water. Due to water problems, water to each site is currently shut off. Overall, the park is very nice, well laid out, well maintained, and very reasonable priced. There is a 14 day camping limit. We would stay there again. Rated as: Above Average.
Other notes:
Close to the city of Casa Grande – 25 minutes
One hour to Tucson, One hour to Phoenix
Pima Air Plane Grave Yard
Eloy Air Port for sky diving
