Description
Rated as Average. This camp ground is on 80 acres in the hills outside Marathon NY. The owners are on site and always around. They are welcoming and very friendly. The staff is also accommodating. The sites are long pull though gravel, on terraces. They over look the lake in the center of the camp ground. One major complain is they are not very level. We got level, but the front wheels were off the ground. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. All the utilities are convenient, easy to hook up, and worked well. The grounds are grass with trees on some sites. There are a lot of seasonal campers in various levels of repair. Most all of the treed sites are seasonal. The roads are all gravel, with a fair amount of potholes. They are narrow and have some tight corners. There is nothing that makes this park stand out, The location and owners make this camp ground. The few negatives keep it from receiving a higher rating. Rated as Average. We would say again.
