Description
Rated as: Average. Very nice park. Small with a lot of permanent “retired” RVers. Many folks like it so much they stay there full time or come back each year. Very quiet with some shade and grass. Sites are level gravel, are side by side, but not uncomfortable. Roads are a little tight, but manageable with care. ATT good, Verizon good, WIFI weak. No pool. Has club house, game room, and horse shoes. Bathroom are well maintained and clean. Host are friendly, as well as the “permanent” guests. Free coffee every morning. Social / game hour everyday at 4pm. Has a separate area with hose to wash cars – not RVs. Only one large pull through spot. Very popular so you must make reservations early. Port Orford is a small, uncrowded town with undiscovered beaches. Would stay again. Rated as: Average.
Other Notes :
- Close to several very nice beaches
- Look for agates on Agate Beach
- Watch fishing boats being lifted out of the water at the pier
- Must eat at the Crazy Norwegian – best fish and chips on the coast.
