Childress City Park is a bare bones place for an over night stop or three. It is located in the off the highway in Childress. TX. It is first come first serve, no reservations are accepted. Water and electricity are available, but no other amenities, club house or bathrooms. There are great walking paths and a small lake near by. All the sites are back in with roughly level gravel.  They are tight with little room between them, but long enough to leave a tow vehicle hooked up.. All the utilities work well. We can recommend this park even though it is bare bones. Way better then Wat-Mart or road pull offs.  Rated as Average.
